AT&T E2525 2.4 GHz DSS Expandable Cordless Phone with Answering System The E2525 from AT&T is a 2.4 GHz cordless phone system with multi-user expandability, a built-in answering system, and caller ID/call waiting compatibility. By utilizing the 2.4 GHz band and frequency-hopping digital spread spectrum technology, the phone offers clear reception with less interference.

Speakerphones on both the base and handset combine with headset compatibility to provide hands-free communication options, while handset and base LCD screens allow you to easily navigate the phone’s functions. The 50-number caller ID memory displays a list of all recent incoming calls, while the 50-number phone directory lets you keep track of important phone numbers.

Multi-user expandable to eight handsets, the E2525 allows you to place additional extensions wherever you need them. An illuminated keypad makes dialing a snap, even in poorly lit environments, and the redial feature lets you easily dial any of the last 10 outgoing numbers. A two-way page/intercom button lets you communicate with other handset locations, while a conferencing feature allows you to speak with multiple parties at once.

The all-digital answering machine has up to 25 minutes of recording time, and remote operation lets you keep track of all your messages, even while you are away from home. Voice prompts help you to manage your messages, and each handset is capable of retrieving messages from the base.

The E2525 has an 8.5-by-8.7-inch footprint and is also wall-mountable, helping you to keep your countertops free from unnecessary clutter. It also comes backed by a one-year warranty.

Customer Review: This phone stinks
This phone cannot hold a charge and is constantly cutting off, despite good batteries, etc. The answering machine messages are often completely inaudible and if the caller speaks softly, the machine automatically stops recording mid-message. The date and time are always losing time and are difficult to reset after a power outage, etc. I would not recommend this phone at all.

I purchased the FIRST one and it had so much static. so as per the manufacturer’s instr. I placed it in different area’s of the house. Still loud and sometimes painful static! so I exchanged it TWO more times w/ the exact same results! I have two other 900mhz phones w/ not a single problem. I don’t no if the answering machine made it bad or what. But I highly suggest you don’t buy it!
